A Memorial Day weekend win for NASCAR’s Martin Truex Jr.

FOX’s Rich Denison reports:

Martin Truex Jr. increasing his chances for a shot at the chase in the NASCAR championship with a big win Sunday in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway:

(Announcer) “Off turn four, Martin Truex Jr. for Single Car Furniture Racing wins at Charlotte, the Coca-Cola 600, his fourth career victory.”

Truex with a Sprint Cup record for leading 588 of the 600 miles in NASCAR’s longest race of the season:

(Truex Jr.) “It’s an amazing day, amazing weekend for all of us. It’s just a weekend you dream about.”

It was the first win of the season for Truex.
