Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to Feature Rock, Power and Politics Exhibit
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame features a new exhibit pertaining to politics ahead of the Republican National Convention, which will take place within shouting distance of the Hall this summer.

Rock and politics, they’ve gone together for decades with lyrics telling the stories of rage, unity and the search for peace in the political spectrum. A new exhibit focusing on that electrifying link will be showcased at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, ahead of the Republican National Convention scheduled for July.
Curators say the “Louder Than Words: Rock, Power and Politics” exhibit will look at topics such as civil rights, war and campaigns and censorship with never before seen rock artifacts and video exhibits, including Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine:
(Morello) “I’d say that 100 percent of music is political, music either supports the status quo or challenges the status quo and so every artist is political.”
Works from Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder and Alan Jackson all part of the display. And visitors can even check out Jimi Hendrix’s Fender Stratocaster he played at Woodstock.
