A Fight to Stop the Death Penalty in Florida

There is a fight in Florida to end the death penalty in the state.

    FOX’s Monica Rix reports:

They want the death penalty there outlawed. Tossing death sentences for about 400 death row inmates, giving them life sentences instead.

The group includes three former Florida Supreme Court justices and two former presidents of the American Bar Association.

Back in January, two executions were stopped after the nation’s high court declared the Florida’s death penalty unconstitutional.

Now those two cases are in limbo while the state legislature decides what to do.
