A Big Recall on Off-Road Vehicles

    There’s a big recall of off-road vehicles.

    FOX’s Dave Anthony reports:

    (Kaye) “This is a very, very serious recall.”

    Of Polaris ATVs, 133,000 of them. RZR 900s and 1000 models from 2013 through this year:

    (Kaye) “Please do not ride these vehicles, do not let anyone ride these vehicles.”

    Elliot Kaye, chairman of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the four-wheelers can catch fire more than 160 have:

    (Kaye) “There’s been at least one death associated with one of these vehicles and a number of first, second and third degree burns.”

    Polaris says owners should contact a dealer for a free fix, adding it has a corrective action plan. Updating its factory processes on newer RZR ATVs.
