No Texting Allowed in AMC Theaters
AMC theaters have listened to the movie goers demanding no texting at theaters.
FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:
The president of AMC theaters has said no texting in movie theaters. The company posted on Twitter on Friday.
In an effort to appeal to a larger demographic, specifically, millennials, Adam Aron, the CEO of AMC Entertainment, recently told Variety that they were considering allowing texting.
But on a post the company wrote that they listened to all theater goers who voiced their opinion and with that in mind they will not allow texting not now and not in the foreseeable future. By the way, that buzzing is a sound effect for this report, not your phone.
