GM Recalls Over a Million Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra Pickup Trucks
A big recall from general motors.
FOX’s Dave Anthony reports:
More than a million Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks need to be fixed. The problem? Seat belts.
A steel cable that connects them to the truck can bend on the driver’s side wear and separate over time, which could put the driver in danger in a crash, though no injuries have been reported so far.
GM’s Friday recall announcement affects Silverado and Sierra 1500’s from the 2014 and 15 model years. Dealers are told not to sell any of those trucks, still on the lot. Truck owners will be notified soon about coming in for a repair.
