FBI Updates San Bernardino Attacker’s iPhone Situation
There’s new information about how the FBI got into a terrorist’s cellphone without Apple’s help.

FBI Director James Comey says the agency found a lawful and safe way to crack open Syed Farook’s iPhone in the high profile San Bernardino terror case:
(Comey) ”Someone outside the government in response to that attention came up with a solution.”
Comey confirmed the FBI purchased a tool from a third party, which demonstrated an alternate method of getting into the device.
The news comes as the Senate gets ready to consider legislation that would compel companies like Apple to comply with court orders allowing access to products or places.
