Pentagon Tells North Korea to Back Away from Nuclear Threats
The Pentagon tells North Korea to step back from threats of nuclear war.
FOX’s Steve Taylor reports from Washington:
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has been making a show of war lately. His isolated communist government has staged a nuclear test and long-range missile launches in recent weeks.
When the world’s reaction to that included United Nation’s sanctions, Kim responded with some short-range weapons launched into the sea.
Now, he has ordered his military to stand by for firing nuclear weapons at any time. It’s not clear how real that threat is. The Pentagon is urging North Korea to refrain from provocative actions.
