Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz Do What They Can to Take Down Donald Trump at GOP Debate

Was it a Republican debate or was it a Detroit Red Wings game?

FOX’s Jared Halpern in Detroit compares the two, and noticed the slight differences:

Here in hockeytown, the gloves were off, a real brawl, at least for three of the Republican candidates:

(Donald Trump) ”This little guy has lied so much about my record.”

(Marco Rubio) “Here we go, the personal attacks. He can’t help himself.”

Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz continuing to target frontrunner Donald Trump, often overshadowing any policy disputes:

(Ted Cruz) “Please, I know it’s hard not to interrupt.”

(Donald Trump) “Yeah, it’s not what you said in the Oped.”

(Ted Cruz) “Breath, breath, breath.”

(Donald Trump) “Lyin’ Ted.”

At one point a not so veiled reference to the male anatomy was made. Ohio Governor John Kasich on the other hand, stayed out of the scrum:

(Kasich) “And people say everywhere I go, you seem to be the adult on the stage.”

He like the other three, still pledged to support whomever wins the nomination.
