Apple Offers Watch for $25 to Employees, Must Meet Exercise Goals for Two Years
Some people being offered an Apple Watch deal to get fit.
FOX’s Lilian Woo reports:
A $350 Apple Watch for $25, part of a deal being offered to employees at three U.S. companies as well as John Hancock Life Insurance customers. The catch: they need to meet exercise goals for two years. The offer comes from Vitality, a provider of disease prevention and lifestyle programs.
Similar incentives found at other companies for instance, Fitbit works with Indiana University Health to subsidize the trackers for staff members who then get a shot at prizes like Caribbean vacations.
Those programs which appear to be expanding in the health care marketplace usually require participants to share data to earn the most rewards.
