Royal Caribbean Ship Damaged in Extreme Storm

Passengers cruising off the North Carolina coast got a bit of a wobbly ride last night due to a storm.

FOX’s Eben Brown reports from Miami:

High winds and rough seas rocked Royal Caribbean’s ‘Anthem of the Seas’ as it tried sailing south down the Atlantic coastline. It’s believed the vessel was way off the coast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, when things got to rockin’.

Passengers recount the sounds of drinking glasses the in the stateroom bathrooms crashing against walls.

The crew didn’t want anybody out or above deck, out of safety concerns, so they made the in-room minibars free of charge. Nobody was hurt, but the ship was damaged in some public areas and guest rooms.
