Abortion Law in North Dakota Doesn’t Pass in Supreme Court

A strict abortion law in North Dakota does not pass Supreme Court muster.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:

North Dakota lawmakers made abortion illegal as early as six weeks into pregnancy at the first detection of a fetal heartbeat. That law never took affect amid an instant challenge from abortion rights groups.

An appeals court struck down the la and the U.S. Supreme Court has now turned away an appeal from the state.

Last week the Supreme Court said Arkansas could not enforce it’s own fetal heartbeat law in that case, banning abortions as early as 12 weeks into a pregnancy.
