Chicago Pastor Urges ‘Prayer’ to Stop City Violence

In Chicago another tool in the fight against violence.

FOX’s Kevin Battle reports:

2016 has opened up with shootings at an epidemic rate in Chicago.

The police there are struggling to get a handle on the problem. Now another approach: 

(Pastor Valdez) “We believe that it is through prayer that hearts will be transformed. The work will start from the inside and be found on the outside.”

Pastor Shando Valdez of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, one of several Churches across Chicago, where people are hoping for help from a higher power.
