Sean Penn Says He Has Regrets Interviewing ‘El Chapo’

Sean Penn says he has regrets concerning his interview with ‘El Chapo’, but its not what you think.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

Actor Sean Penn’s interview with notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquin Guzman, known as ‘El Chapo’, sent shock waves across the country, but Penn tells Charlie Rose he regrets his Rolling Stone interview, but not for the reasons you might expect, saying he wanted to start a national conversation:

(Penn) “Let’s go to the big picture of what we all want. We all want this drug problem to stop. We all want the killings in Chicago to stop. And if you are in the moral right or on the far left, just as many of your children are doing these drugs and how much time have they spent in the last week since this article come out talking about that?”

The interview airs on CBS and PBS.
