Obama Holds Town Hall On Guns, Takes Aim At NRA

President Obama held a town hall on guns Thursday night, taking aim at the NRA.

Two days after the President announced executive actions designed to broaden the scope of gun sales subject to background checks, the President at a CNN town hall blamed the NRA for soaring gun sales.

(President Obama) “The NRA has convinced many of its members that somebody is going to come grab your guns.”

The President, who criticized the NRA’s decision not to attend the event, has come under heavy fire from Republicans and Second Amendment advocates for his actions, which they say infringe on Americans’ right to bear arms.
