‘In God We Trust’ Motto On Police Cars Causing a Stir in a North Carolina Town

‘In God We Trust’ is the official motto of the United States and it’s been adopted in China Grove, North Carolina, too.
A photo on the police department’s Facebook page, showing the motto on a patrol car, creating controversy as some people object to interjecting God in government…
(Deal) “We fly the American flag, we say ‘The Pledge of Allegiance’ before our meetings… We have very low crime here and we felt like we would just simply support the motto, the United States motto by putting it on our vehicles.”
That’s China Grove town manager Ken Deal, who says putting the motto on the police cars and on town hall promotes American values.
