Another Deadly Year for Journalists
This year has been another deadly one for journalists.
FOX’s Steve Taylor reports from Washington:
69 news reporters, editors, and photographers have been killed on the job this year… At least 28 of them by Islamic militant groups such as al-Qaida and ISIS.
A new report from the Committee to Protect Journalists counts eight journalists slain in the Charlie Hebdo magazine offices in Paris and 13 news reporters and photographers killed in the fighting in Syria…
Another group, Reporters Without Borders, counts 67 journalism fatalities this year. Both groups say some other deaths don’t have clear explanations.
