A joint NATO-Afghan patrol was walking through a village when a suicide bomber drove a motorbike into the group, this according to Afghan officials.

NATO saying it happened close to the U.S. military’s largest facility in Afghanistan, Bagram Airfield, and FOX News understands all of the troops killed were Americans.

Another two Americans and an interpreter were wounded… The Taliban quickly claiming responsibility.

It’s the first major attack on a NATO military convoy since August.
