Later School Starts for Students
More and more schools are starting to heed the advice of scientists.
FOX’s Pam Puso has more:
More school districts are letting students hit the snooze button when the alarm goes off in the morning…
For years scientists have been saying that expecting teenagers to show up to class before 8 a.m. isn’t good for their health or their grades and in recent years some 70 school districts across the country have adopted later start times.
Next year in Seattle, all high school students and most middle school students won’t hear the bell ring… until 8:45.
