Ex-National Guardsman Pleads Guilty in Islamic State Terror Plot
An ex-Illinois guardsman pleads guilty in an Islamic State terror plot.
FOX News’ Jeff Monosso reports:
The guilty plea yesterday for 23-year-old former National Guardsman Hasan Edmonds, one of two Muslim cousins, who plotted to kill over one hundred U.S. soldiers with assault rifles and grenades at a Joliet Illinois Armory.
The two were arrested earlier this year… 29-yr-old Jonas Edmonds plead guilty last week…
Prosecutors say Hasan Edmonds also planned to head overseas to fight with ISIS, though the criminal complaint suggests undercover federal agents kept close tabs on the cousins, who face decades in prison when they’re sentenced next year.
