Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg Has a New Baby, Pledges to Donate Shares to Charity

The co-founder and CEO of Facebook has a new, little friend in his life.

Like many proud parents, Mark Zuckerberg unveiled a new arrival on Facebook, welcoming his daughter Max into the world.

His wife, Priscilla Chan gave birth last week, but Zuckerberg made the announcement Tuesday generating more than 200,000 likes in the first hour alone. The couple posted a letter they wrote to baby Max, hoping she grows up in a world that advances human potential and promotes equality.

Zuckerberg and Chan also pledged to give 99% of their Facebook shares, currently worth about 45-billion dollars, to charity.
