New York Governor Launches New App to Alert Signs of Terror
Extra steps to boost security in New York as a busy tourist season kicks into high gear.
FOX News’ Gurnal Scott has more:
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is giving people a way to report witnessing something that may be a threat. The “See Something, Send Something” app allows people to alert intelligence officials if terrorist activity is suspected.
But potential threats aren’t swaying people like Paul Managhan from England, who was enjoying Times Square…
(Managhan) “If it’s gonna happen, it could happen in England… It could happen anywhere. You can’t just give in to it.”
New York City and State Police say as of now there are no credible threats to follow up on.
