Tim Wolfe’s resignation comes after protests in recent days over what minority students at the University of Missouri say was the President’s refusal to address recent racial issues on campus.
(Wolfe) “It is my belief we stopped listening to each other. We didn’t respond or react. We got frustrated with each other.”
The schools football team and some staff members joined student protests, though Wolfe calls his resignation an act of love that he hopes will heal and start the conversation about a better future and not what we can’t change in regards to the past.
