Police Continue to Rally Against Quentin Tarantino
Police across the country are responding to film director Quentin Tarantino no apology stance.
FOX News’ Michelle Pollino reports:
The National Association of Police Organizations rejecting Quentin Tarantino’s efforts to clarify his comments, calling the director’s explanation “ludicrous.”
Tarantino telling the L.A. Times that he was misrepresented and that he is not a cop hater… The film director under fire for comments he made at an anti-police brutality rally in New York…
(Tarantino) “And I have to call the murders the murders.”
LAPD Chief Charlie Beck saying…
(Beck) “Mr. Tarantino lives in a fantasy world, but he doesn’t understand violence, he doesn’t understand the nature of the violence that police officers confront. He mistakes lawful use of force for murder.”
While Tarantino not backing down from is comments, neither are police unions with police boycotts, several cities continuing.
