EPA Says Volkswagen Cheated For the Second Time on Emissions Tests

More diesel emissions-cheating vehicles are uncovered…

The federal government says Volkswagen cheated for a second time… Using installed software designed to skirt emissions tests on about 10,000 vehicles with 3-Liter six-cylinder diesel engines, including the 2014 Touareg, 2015 Porsche Cayenne and the 2016 Audi A6 Quattro, A7 Quattro, A8 and Q5.

This is on top of the 11-million 4-cylinder VW’s and Audi’s the company previously admitted were installed with so-called defeat devices. 

Though no word if the company will blame the latest alleged emissions fraud on the same rogue software engineers.
