Young people around America are suing over climate change…
Fox News’ Carmen Roberts has the story:
Many kids say it’s their planet and they deserve a voice in its future… So, a growing number of them are suing states and the federal government to push them into action on climate change.
One such case gets its day in court this week… Eight young people in Seattle petitioned Washington State last year to adopt stricter science-based regulations to protect them from global warming.
After all, they say it’s their generation and the ones who follow that will bear the brunt of adults’ bad decisions.
