Texas Cuts Off Planned Parenthood Medicaid Plan
Planned Parenthood can no longer operate as a Medicaid provider in the state of Texas, as they’ve been removed from the approved list.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports:
In the midst of the infamous Planned Parenthood videos, Texas Governor Greg Abbott says the state is cutting off the group from state Medicaid based on an Inspector General’s report:
(Abbott) “That he had evidence that where Planned Parenthood allowed unsanitary conditions that could cause the spread of infectious diseases.”
Planned Parenthood calls Texas actions ‘scandalous’, but Abbott adds they’ve been under investigation for Medicaid fraud, too…
(Abbott) “For billing for items and services that were either unnecessary or never provided.”
