Former Texas A&M Football Player Murders Dallas Jogger
A man in Dallas charged with hacking a stranger to death along a trail turns out to be a former college football superstar.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports:
A cyclist on Dallas’ White Rock Trail saw the shadow of a killer…
(Sherwin) “You could tell it’s a machete.”
Deputy Police Chief Rob Sherwin says the suspect could give no reasons…
(Sherwin) “He seems articulate. I just don’t know why he chose this victim.”
He is Thomas Johnson… Back in 2012 he played for Texas A&M alongside Johnny Manziel.
(Brent Musburger) “Beautiful catch down here on the sideline by… Thomas Johnson!”
From ESPN… Johnson’s had personal troubles since and was angry says Sherwin.
(Sherwin) “He just picked somebody to murder.”
The victim remains unidentified.
