U.S. Air Force C-17 Cargo Planes Airdrop Guns and Ammunition Over Northwestern Syria

Big U.S. Air Force C-17 cargo planes airdropped 50 tons of small arms and grenades over Northwestern Syria on Sunday.
That’s the part of the country where local Syrian militias are battling Islamic State troops for control of the country. A senior defense official tells FOX News that all of the parachute pallets, 112 of them, reached friendly forces… Syrian Arabs, not Syrian Kurds.
Turkey, a U.S. ally in this fight, says arming Kurdish fighters is a threat to Turkish security.
