Joey Logano Picks Up Checkered Flag at Charlotte, Onto Third Round of Chase

It was an exciting finish on Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the Sprint Cup series.

FOX News Radio’s Rich Denison fill you in on who won:

Joey Logano makes the Chase with a win at Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday, beating the reigning Sprint Cup champ Kevin Harvick.

(Announcer) “Joey Logano will win for the first time at Charlotte and advance to round three.”

The call courtesy NBCSN… Logano led 227 of the race’s 334 laps. Martin Truex Jr. came in third, Denny Hamlin fourth.

The series heads next week to Kansas, then Talladega, where four more drivers will be eliminated from contention for the Sprint Cup Championship.

The championship round race will be held November 22 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
