Will Republican Paul Ryan Consider Speaker of the House Bid?

    Who will be the next Speaker of the House? Republicans aren’t sure… even as an emerging favorite is pressed to get in the race.

    FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

    Leaving a morning meeting of House Republicans in the Capitol basement… Georgia Republican Doug Collins faced the same question as so many of his colleagues…. can Ways and Means Committee chairman Paul Ryan be convinced to run for Speaker of the House?

    (Collins) “I’ve heard reports from many of you… I’ve seen people actually parse the last two words “right now”, I mean if we’re down to parsing words like that? We’ll let Mr. Ryan speak for himself.”

    While a spokesman for Ryan says he’s still not a candidate, sources tell FOX News the Wisconsin Republican will at least spend this weekend considering a bid.
