Taylor Swift Edges Out Kim Kardashian in Instagram Subscribers

Who sits atop the Instagram throne , not surprisingly, she’s one of the stars in the world and luckily her last name isn’t Kardashian!

Celebrating its fifth birthday, Instagram released some statistics about the social media company revealing the top five accounts and the number one spot is being held by Taylor Swift with 49.6 million subscribers, followed closely by Kim Kardashian.

Beyonce came in third, Selena Gomez, and Ariana Grande rounded out the top five. The photo and video-sharing app reached a milestone in September with 400 million monthly users, surpassing its rival Twitter by 80 million users, according to the website.

More than 80 million photos are shared per day on Instagram.
