Ten Commandments Monument Removed From Oklahoma Capitol
A monument of the Ten Commandments can’t be seen at Oklahoma’s Capitol any more.
FOX News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers has more on where it’s been taken:
The state’s forking over $4,700 to remove the monument, which will get a new home at the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs’ offices.
It’s been controversial since it was erected in 2012, prompting lawsuits.
The original monument was smashed to pieces last year when someone drove a car across the Capitol lawn and crashed into it.
