Obama Secures Votes To Protect Iran Nuclear Deal
The President has all the votes he needs to sustain a veto of legislation blocking the agreement aimed at curbing Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief.
FOX News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland reports:
Maryland Senator Barbara Mikulski was the 34th Senator to back the agreement, making it a done deal. Republican Senator and presidential candidate Marco Rubio tells FOX News if he’s elected:
(Rubio) “We will reimpose those sanctions on day one. And then I will go to Congress and ask them to even increase those sanctions more and I will back that up with a credible threat of military force.”
Secretary of State John Kerry has written a letter to Congress outlining security agreements for Israel.
