Ashley Madison Website Hacked

A dating website that helps married people cheat has been hit by hackers.

FOX News Radio’s Gary Baumgarten reports:

Ashley Madison, whose slogan is, “Life is short. Have an affair,” facilitates married people to cheat on their spouses.

But, the whole idea of cheating is that you hope you’ll never get caught. So many of their customers must be sweating on the news that the dating site has been hacked. And that the hackers are threatening to release all of Ashley Madison’s customer records, unless the company pulls the plug.

The company says they’ve plugged the leak and are working with law enforcement to find the perpetrators. But of course, stopping leaks and getting back stolen information are two different things.
