Kyle Busch Gears Up For The ‘Magic Mile’
NASCAR takes a trip to the ‘Magic Mile’, New Hampshire Motor Speedway for Sunday’s running of the 5-hour Energy 301… Casey Mears stays at Germain Racing, personnel changes at Premium Motorsports, Kevin Harvick receives another award and Adam Sandler will get drivers to start their engines at Loudon.
FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh reports in this week’s “FOX in the Fast Lane”:
Kyle Busch says drivers have more control over their destiny at tracks like Loudon…
(Busch) “So it’s going to be on my hands, and Adam Stevens’ and this whole race team’s hands.”
Busch has two wins, but must be among the top 30 drivers points wise to be Chase eligible.
Austin Dillon… ready to race again this weekend talks about what it takes to win at Loudon:
(Dillon) “You’ve gotta have a car that turns and holds drive long into a run. It’s definitely a place that you gotta have a good car.”
Casey Mears returns for a sixth season with Germain Racing, his contract extended through the 2016 season.
Josh Wise has left Premium Motorsports. In a tweet posted this week, he wrote, “The team and I did not share the same goals moving forward.”
No word on who will replace him in the number 98 car.
Kevin Harvick picked up ‘Best Driver’ honors at this year’s ESPY Awards.
And actor and comedian Adam Sandler will be grand marshal for this week’s race at Loudon.
