‘American Idol’ To Come To An End
FOX’s hit series “American Idol” will be coming to an end.
FOX News Radio’s Michelle Pollino reports:
After 15 seasons FOX’s reality series “American Idol” will end — the show that launched the careers of Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, and so many more stars made the announcement a day before its 14th season two-day finale.
Judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. will return, as well as host Ryan Seacrest.
The show was huge for FOX bringing in 20 million viewers in its second year in 2003, and those ratings continued, according to Nielson, through 2011.
The final season will search for the next “Idol” while paying tribute to the past 14 seasons of superstars.
