Study Reveals Airline Complaints On The Rise
Do you think flying on the airlines is getting worse? A pair of university researchers who track the airline industry says you’re not wrong.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports.
A pair of professors who track the airline business say more flight are late, more bags are lost and customers lodge more complaints than has been the case in the past.
The survey is performed by marketing professor Dean Headly at Wichita State and Brent Bowen at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida.
They say a quarter of all flights by U.S. carriers last year were late, that one out of every 275 passengers loses a bag. The number of passengers getting bumped due to overbooking is up, and passengers are complaining 22 percent more often.
