Sen. Rand Paul Launches 2016 Presidential Bid [VIDEO]
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul announcing his bid for the White House.
FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern reports from Louisville.
The eye surgeon turned Senator launched his Presidential bid laying out his vision for America.
(Paul) “A message that is loud and clear and does not mince words… we have come to take our country back.”
Like his father before him, Paul is running an unconventional campaign, telling supporters here in Louisville to defeat the Washington machine.
(Paul) ”Both parties and the entire political system are to blame.”
In addition to Tea Party staples like a balanced budget amendment and term limits, Paul is calling for restraint in U.S. military intervention and promising to repel the NSA’s surveillance program. Already, he faces criticism from conservative hawks.
