Arrest Made In Ferguson Police Shootings [VIDEO]
An arrest has been made in the Ferguson, Missouri police shootings, but the investigation is ongoing.
FOX News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers has more.
Jeffrey Williams faces several charges in the shooting of the officers, including two counts of first-degree assault.
St. Louis County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch says Williams told authorities he was firing at someone else, with whom he was in a dispute.
Jeff Roorda with the St. Louis Police Officers Association has visited one of the injured officers, who was glad to hear of the arrest.
(Roorda) “His family are particularly relieved. It’s not easy to be sitting at home knowing that a guy is at large that did you harm and to have him behind bars is comforting.”
McCulloch says Williams used a handgun that matches the shell casings at the scene.
