Washington D.C. Legalizes Marijuana
Washington, D.C. literally goes to pot.

Recreational use of marijuana is now legal in the nation’s capital, but with limitations.
People 21 and older can only puff at home, possess a maximum two ounces of pot, and selling it remains illegal. Voters overwhelmingly approved the initiative last year.

Congress has final say on D.C. laws and some Republicans threatened city leaders with jail time for legalizing marijuana.
