Joey Logano Wins 1st Daytona 500 Title [VIDEO]

Joey Logano wins his first-ever Daytona 500 title, as the new season for NASCAR gets underway.

FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports from the Daytona International Speedway.

Joey Logano’s been racing NASCAR since he was eighteen, and he’s finally taken his first Daytona title on a day with perfect weather and minimal delays.

(Lagono) “Daytona 500 guys!! Ahhhhhh!”

As heard from his race radio over FOX TV. Logano was able to stay ahead of a three-wide pack in the final laps, avoiding a pile-up that secured his victory.

(Logano) “You have split-second after the caution came out, and you think about it, and you’re like, ‘did we win?’ And, then it’s just straight chaos after that. It’s just an amazing feeling.”
