Majority Of Voters Believe No Clear Plan To Fight ISIS, New Poll Reveals [VIDEO]
On the heels of President Obama’s efforts to get Congress to back his battle against ISIS, voters in a brand new poll say they don’t believe the White House has a clear plan to defeat the militant group.
FOX News Radio’s Gurnal Scott has the story.
73 percent of voters who responded to a new FOX News Poll say they don’t think President Obama has a strategy to defeat ISIS. That’s a more negative view from six months ago by nine points.
6-in-10 respondents also say U.S. ground forces are needed to defeat the extremists, despite administration pledges to keep American troop involvement to a minimum.
Voters overwhelmingly say if Americans are captured by extremists, there should be an attempt to rescue them — a result underscored by the recent death of American aid worker Kayla Mueller by ISIS terrorists, who detained her for a year and a half.
