NBC Suspends Brian Williams For 6 Months, Jon Stewart Leaving ‘The Daily Show’ [VIDEO]
Viewers of Comedy Central and NBC news will have some big changes to get used to.

“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” is losing its signature host.
(Stewart) “I thank you for watching it, for hate watching it…Whatever reason you were tuning in for…”

His announcement left his departure timetable open-ended, and didn’t say what he plans to do next.
It comes the same day that NBC announced it’s suspending Brian Williams as “Nightly News” anchor and managing editor for six months without pay, for misleading the public about his experiences covering the Iraq war in 2003.
NBC Chief Executive Steve Burke called Williams’ actions “inexcusable” but said he deserved a second chance.
Lester Holt will continue to fill in for Williams during his absence.
