An Ohio man has been indicted on charges he threatened to kill House Speaker John Boehner.

FOX News Radio’s Jill Nado reports.

An Ohio bartender allegedly wanted to kill House Speaker John Boehner. A grand jury indictment identifies that man as Michael Hoyt.

Congressional sources tell FOX News, Hoyt was “unstable”. He reportedly was committed to a mental institution for a time, but then released.

Once he was out, law enforcement felt strongly enough to move to indict him, to get him off the street because of the threat he posed to Boehner.

Boehner releasing a statement, saying he was aware of the situation and thanking the FBI, the Capitol Police, and local authorities in Ohio for their efforts.
