Expensive Ring Accidentally Donated Gets Returned
An extremely big — and accidental — donation to a Salvation Army kettle is returned to its owner.
FOX News Radio’s Lisa Brady reports:
Even the very generous usually don’t drop expensive jewelry into those big red kettles…
(Volunteer) “Hello… Thank you ma’am… You have a nice Christmas.”
But bell ringers in Pennsylvania found a gold and diamond ring worth $10,000 accidentally dropped in with the change a Pittsburgh-area woman was donating. A local TV station helped reunite ring and owner. Salvation Army volunteer Chris Blessing says accidental donations usually range from buttons and game tokens, to pocket lint.
