This Year’s Hot Toy List
This year’s ‘hot toy’ list has something for everyone.
FOX News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers looks at which toys should be on your must-have list:
What toys do kids want this year? Adrienne O’Hara, with Toys R Us, let me take some of them for a spin, like Little Live Pets Love Birds.
(O’Hara) “They actually tweet and chirp back to each other.”
They’re record-able, so you can add your own message.
Disney’s Frozen is still big, too, and Snow Glow Elsa sings when you press her amulet.
(Sound from Snow Glow Elsa) ”Let it go.”
And, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Stretch N Shout Leonardo. Parents, think Stretch Armstrong with an audio twist.
(O’Hara) “His arms stretch up to an 8-inch wing span.”
He says phrases…
(O’Hara) “His pitch will increase as you stretch his arms out.”
Zoomer Dino is an animatronic dinosaur.
(O’Hara) “He can actually respond by not just the movements, but also by the color of his eyes.”
Okay — green eyes, good — red eyes, bad.
And, Max Tow Truck isn’t just a normal toy truck.
(Max Tow Truck) ”I’m Max Tow Truck. I can tow up to 200 pounds.”
He’s not kidding. Adrienne says they tested it out.
(O’Hara) “We’ve tried it on our colleagues in a rolling chair.”
In New York City, Tonya J. Powers. Okay, hit it, lovebirds!
