Turkeys Await Presidential Pardon
An annual tradition awaits the President when he returns from Asia.
FOX News Radio’s Kerin McCue explains:
From ISIS to immigration, President Obama’s got a lot of things on his plate. Not least among them… the annual Presidential Pardon of an erstwhile Thanksgiving turkey. On November 26th, the President pardons a pair of gobblers!
These birds hale from Ohio, where farmer Cole Cooper tells us he raised them in a ‘special barn’. And he expects them to behave themselves!
(Cooper) “I’ve been kind of training them to get them used to letting you hold them.”
After Thanksgiving, the two turkeys will spend the rest of their days on a farm in Virginia. To which they replied…
