Ebola in America: Fears of Outbreak [VIDEO]
Some emergency room doctors in Dallas, Texas are getting ready for a flood of people with the flu who think they have the Ebola virus…. Dallas, where there’s the first confirmed case of Ebola.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports:
The hospital in Dallas now caring for a Liberian man who became sick and was diagnosed with Ebola after arriving in the U.S. is now admitting they didn’t follow federal protocol when he first came to the ER.
The patient voluntarily told the medical staff that he was from Western Africa and recently flew here to visit family. An executive with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital says that information wasn’t properly communicated to the rest of the staff.
They sent him home with antibiotics. He later returned when his symptoms worsened.
