Dallas, TX Suburb Approves Plan for Nation’s 1st Video Game Museum
A Dallas suburb approves a million dollar plan for the country’s first video game museum.

That is an iconic sound to the boomer generation. It is the legendary PAC-MAN game, and a community development board in a northern Dallas suburb thinks preserving that game and many more in a museum is well worth a million. And, that’s the cost they approved to renovate a city museum into the nation’s first video game museum.

The Frisco Community Development Corporation board voted unanimously to approve the deal with the Videogame History Museum – a nonprofit that collects games, consoles and memorabilia tied to the gaming industry, from PAC-MAN to a working prototype of Pong.
